Part Time College Baseball Recruiter

Bryant & Stratton College is seeking a part-time recruiter for our Men’s Baseball Team. This is a temporary position.  Candidate is responsible to help identify and enroll talented student-athletes for our baseball program while demonstrating high moral and ethical standards. The recruiter, along with the Campus Director, must operate within the recruiting budget to meet the team needs and follow rules pertaining to the College and governing rules and regulations.

 

This role focuses on lead generation, referrals, and athlete enrollment, ensuring we attract skilled players who are a strong fit for our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for baseball, strong networking abilities, and experience in recruiting, coaching, or player development.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Proactively identify potential student-athletes through scouting, online research, and direct outreach to generate leads. Build and maintain relationships with high school coaches, travel ball organizations, and other key contacts to receive athlete referrals. Engage with prospective athletes and their families via phone, email, and social media to promote the college baseball program. Represent the program at showcases, tournaments, and high school games to evaluate talent and connect with prospects. Assess players based on skill, athletic potential, and academic eligibility to determine their fit within the program. Guide student-athletes through the recruitment and enrollment process, ensuring they meet program and school requirements. Maintain accurate records of leads, referrals, and recruitment activities in a tracking system.

 

Qualifications:

Associate degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous experience in college/high school baseball recruiting, coaching, or player development preferred. Strong knowledge of baseball talent evaluation and recruitment strategies. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Familiarity with recruiting tools, social media platforms, and athlete databases. Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings and weekends for scouting events.

 

SALARY:  

$18,000 stipend
