Position Overview

Davey is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and creative intern to join its corporate communications department. This position will work on Davey's internal communications platform, DaveyConnect. This is a hybrid internship in the Columbus, Ohio area. Attention to detail and being self-driven are a must for this internship. An intern will gain skills with a dynamic internal content management system, writing clear and concise messages for various internal audiences and creating and packaging content in a visually interesting manner.

 

Position will start in January.

Job Duties Write and format content based on information from internal groups.  Update and refresh content in recurring campaigns. Assist with analytics and collecting data from various reports.  Gather and upload photos to content photo library.  Other projects as needed. 

Ideal candidate experience:

Writing and creating professional internal or external digital content. Previous experience working with a content management system. Familiarity with Canva is a plus. Has excellent oral and written communication skills. Is pursuing a degree in communications, public relations, or journalism. Is willing to lend a hand or projects outside of their scope of work.  Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.  Qualifications
