Amsterdam Nursing Home is seeking a motivated Part-time Healthcare Cook to work for our Skilled Nursing Facility located in Manhattan, NY! The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and prior experience in large-scale food prep.

Duties Include:

Preparation, cooking, and service of a variety of foodsBaking a variety of rolls, cookies, cakes, and piesWorking on tray line during meal serviceGeneral cleaning up of the kitchenHand washing and sanitizing of pots and pansRelated work as required

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in large-scale cookingStrong knowledge of large-scale & therapeutic food prepAble to do some physical workWork as a team memberHigh School Diploma or EquivalentExcellent customer service & communication skillsManage the Kitchen in the absence of the food service director
