Nursing Home Cook/Dietary Aide

Steuben Center is looking to hire a Part-Time Cook/Dietary Aide for our Skilled Nursing Facility located in Bath, NY.

Cook Job Duties:

Preparation, cooking, and service of a variety of foodsBaking a variety of rolls, cookies, cakes, and piesWorking on tray line during meal serviceGeneral cleaning up of kitchenHand washing and sanitizing of pot and pansRelated work as required.

Dietary Aide Duties:

Portioning and serving of food itemsDelivering of trays and carts to resident floorsCleaning of dining roomsWorking on the tray lineWorking in the dish room and pot sinkSweeping and moppingDisposal of trash and recyclables

REQUIREMENTS:

Certification in healthcare cooking (ServSafe or Sodexo)Strong knowledge of large scale & theraputic food prepMust be able to do some physical workShould be a strong team playerHigh School Diploma or EquivalentExcellent customer service & communication skillsMust be Vaccinated!
