What you'll do:

Follow standardized Prep & recipes for all menu items including but not limited to: washing produce, using accurate knife cuts, measuring/portioning accurately, using prescribed cooking methods, cooling and storingFollow standardized plate presentations and portioning for all menu items including but not limited using prescribed portioning tools, china, to go containersPrepare special request items as directed by ticket, FOH staff or Culinary SupervisorFollow Allergy and Sensitivity Protocol accurately including, but not limited to replacing all tools, using alternate cooking methods, identifying plate as allergen specific to FOH staff for serviceKeep items properly labeled, dated, rotated and organizedEnsure tools and equipment are changed as needed and kept cleanKeep work areas clean and sanitized throughout shiftAsk questions and listen attentively to ensure accurate transfer of informationInvolve Line Supervisor, Culinary Supervisor or Executive Chef in the event of information discrepancies

What you'll need:

Acquire and maintain a Utah food handlers’ permitAble to comprehend the concept of and maintain personal hygieneExecute standard cooking methods (saute, broil, bake, fry, steam, etc.) accurately, consistently and efficientlyExecute standard knife work (dice, julienne, bias cut, etc.) accurately, consistently and efficientlyCommunicate professionally and effectively in person and on the telephoneAble to accommodate special requests from guestsAble to remain focused and diligent at all timesAble to accurately receive and communicate informationMaintain a calm and collected demeanor in stressful situationsAble to recognize when help is needed and request it in a timely manner.Read and use standardized prep lists, recipes and plate presentations consistently and accuratelyMaintain proper food rotation practices to ensure freshness and wholesomeness of productAble to stand or walk through entire shiftCan lift up to 50 lbs.
