As a Dock Worker/Customer Service Representative, you will load and unload freight in a productive, safe and claims-free manner. Assist Dayton Freight customers with a variety of inquires including freight pickup requests, manage rate quotes or freight charges and appointments or special requests. 

Complete pre and post trip inspections on all dock equipmentProperly document all freight control processesPromptly answer incoming calls and handles the request Participate in Dayton Freight’s training and improvement programsBe available for irregular work schedules, alternating work shifts and/or assignmentsAdhere to the operational procedures and guidelines contained in the Dayton Freight Driver/Dockworker Manual Qualifications 18 years of ageBasic math skillsFluent in EnglishAble to pass a drug screen Benefits Stable and growing organizationPay beginning at $22.85 per hourQuick advancementProfessional, positive and people-centered work environmentModern facilitiesClean, late model equipment401(k) plan, Company Match
