About the Roles

Several BMA Mine Sites across the Bowen Basin are currently seeking multiple Dozer Operators and Dozer Push Operators for permanent part-time roster opportunities. These roles play a key role in day-to-day mining operations, ensuring efficiency and safety at all times. 

 

These roles would be suited to individuals based in the Bowen Basin, Mackay region of Central Queensland or Brisbane or Cairns as these roles are being offered on a variety of travel models - residential, drive-in-drive-out (DIDO) and limited fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) from Brisbane or Cairns. Accommodation is provided in one of our Villages whilst working on roster. 
  

Working part-time you would be required to perform a range of mostly 12.5 hour shifts, on rotating days only or day/night roster patterns, up to a 50% full-time roster equivalent. 


About You 
 

To be successful, you will: 

Experience in a production mining environment operating some of the following machinery or their equivalent: D10 Dozer, CAT 854 wheel dozer, CAT 992 and 994 loaders, WA1200 Loaders, Liebherr 9400 and 996 Excavators. 

Experience with autonomous haulage systems is advantageous but not essential 

A genuine commitment to safety 

Motivated, enthusiastic individual who can work with minimal supervision and engage in team operations 

Minimum C Class Driver’s licence.
