Cub in Rochester on Scott Road is looking for Ecommerce Shoppers to join our team. The purpose of this position is to provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service in addition to shopping for and ringing up online orders. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

Execute on delivery times and order accuracy  Follow department safety and sanitation programs for selection, transportation and delivery  Observe standards and procedures regarding store security and confidentiality  Effective communication with other departments and store staff  Provide comparable products for substitution  Prepare orders for delivery by ringing up and bagging orders in an efficient and effective manner  Checking expiration dates throughout the store during slow periods 

Functional Requirement: 

Physical: walking, bending, kneeling, able to reach, lift, stack and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weighing up to 50 lbs., equipment operation (intercom, telephone, scanner, register, scale, shopping cart) 

Mental: judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, & math 

JOB COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS: 

Attention to detail 

Checking product for the highest quality  Properly scans and bags product  Accurate shopping of customer orders 

Communication skills 

Ability to Greet, Offer, & Thank all customers  Effectively communicate with other departments and store staff  Ability to receive feedback and implement processes for improvement  Ability to follow directions from the Supervisor  Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

SCHEDULE:

1st shift: 7am - 4pm 2nd shift: 2pm-9pm

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
