Position Summary
Reporting to the Head Equipment Manager, the Atlanta United Part Time Equipment Manager will work in the club’s Equipment Department to assist with everyday equipment duties regarding the First Team, MLS Next Pro and Academy teams. This role will have daily equipment duties in ensuring all players and staff are properly outfitted every day for training and games and given the aid to create a cohesive environment amongst all club members.
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily laundry and resetting of all training sessions and gamesEnsuring the training fields from all teams have been reset back to their assigned layouts and field equipment has been stored in its proper areaAssist in training day locker room set up and breakdownAssisting staff in printing all players and staff training and match kit in compliance with competition regulationsAssisting in packing and creating packing lists for home and away games Responsible for home game locker room set up and break down at timesWork alongside Equipment department staff in printing and labeling necessary gearHelping to maintain and ensure a clean, tidy, and organized equipment room, locker rooms, and first team boot roomResetting and cleaning first team players boots at times • Responsible for preparing and maintaining all the necessary equipment, including boots, kit, match balls, training balls, etc.Ensuring everything is clean, properly sized, and readily available for training sessions and match daysAssisting the equipment staff to maintain an up-to-date inventory of supplies, including toiletries, heat transfers, team gear, etc.Developing relationships with staff, players, club personnel, and game day operations staff members to maintain a cohesive operationAttending weekly staff meetingsQualifications/Education Requirements:
