Amsterdam Nursing Home is currently seeking a Part-Time Food Service Supervisor for our Skilled Nursing Facility.

DUTIES:

Plans, assigns & supervises the work of Food Service StaffSchedules and assigns staff, prepares department payroll for data entrySupervises the storage & care of food and suppliesOversees the cleaning of the kitchen, storage, & dining areas, and equipmentChecks residents trays for accuracy with a specified menu; assists with meal service at times Menu ticket modification, printing meal tickets, menu and food preference data inputCoordinates and plans food preparation activities for special eventsWorks hand in hand with Rabbis to ensure staff adheres to kosher regulations

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous Food Service Supervisor/Kitchen Supervisor experience in the Healthcare sector OR minimum of 3 years of work experience as a lead Dietary AideAt least one year in an LTC/Rehab facility as a Food Service SupervisorMinimum of high school diploma or equivalentExcellent communication and computer skillsNYS food service certificationPrevious Sous-Chef experience is a plus
