General Labour:
The General Labour full-time position is responsible for performing packaging, clean-up and other elemental activities related to food processing.

The successful applicant must:
• Work within all stations of the department as assigned
• Assist with all aspects of line activities
• Ensure adherence to Food Safety and Quality Assurance requirements
• In compliance with GMPs, HACCP, Health & Safety and WHMIS requirements
• Handling heavy loads with moderate physical exertion (lifting 10-25 kg)
• Fast-paced environment
• Repetitive tasks
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Shift Requirements:
• Ability to read, speak and write English
• Physically fit to perform the required task
• Ability to follow directions and get things done with minimal supervision in a team environment
• Flexibility to work shifts as scheduled (No more then 24 hours per week as per our CBA)
• Minimum Grade 12 education
*You must be legally eligible to work and currently residing in Canada.


Quality & Food Safety Skills: Product quality checks against customer and internal specifications Ability to maintain cleanliness of areas of responsibility
Health and Safety: Demonstrated ability to wear proper PPE and comply with safety requirements Lifting, bending, pushing and pulling Reaching, gripping with both hands Prolonged standing

Communication, Cooperation & Continuous Improvement Skills: Ability to read, write and communicate in English Positive interaction and information sharing with Associates and Salaried Team Active participation in Work Group meetings Ability to obtain pertinent information, evaluate information objectively and explore alternative solutions to problems and improved ways of completing job tasks Willing to try new things and assume additional responsibilities
