The Embarc Conversion / General Maintenance Tech is both behind the scenes in that it requires basic carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC skills as well as front facing in terms of a member and guest services capacity. The technician should be able to maintain physical activity including standing, walking, stooping, reaching, climbing stairs and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians as neededAssist Conversion and Cleaning CrewCarpentry and drywall finishing repairsPreventative Maintenance on HVAC equipment such as filters and belt changesReceive and distribute USPS mail, FedEx, and UPS shipments within the building in a timely mannerEnsure mailroom and loading area is well maintained, clean and clearResponsible for all Embarc Collective inbound and outbound US Mail and Shipment distributionRespond courteously to staff, member, and guest inquiries by phone or emailAt times, be responsible for set up and tear down of various events hosted at Embarc, which involves staging, tables, chairs, etc.Work cooperatively with all staff membersMaintain a clean and neat appearance during work hoursAssure the health, safety and security of co-workers and guests by following all safety procedures and rules and OSHA standardsMonitor and report to the manager any discrepancies, damage, loss of property, safety concernsAll other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
