Job Summary:  

A new client is seeking a forward thinking and self-starter handyperson and gardener to help maintain their home and extended grounds, consisting of 6 acres. The family have younger aged children.

This is an ideal role for an individual with a proactive nature and proven experience in utilising a broad range of skills when it comes to maintaining a functioning home, keeping a keen eye to detail in order make a family’s life smoother and more organised.

Job specification:

You will have a practical hands-on approach with duties that include mending, basic electrics, hanging pictures, door tweaking, gutter clearing, spotting potential leaks, arranging contractors and some roofing duties. Someone not fazed by ladders.

The property boasts a beautiful garden, containing mature trees, a paddock and a vegetable patch. The ideal candidate would have both Handyperson experience, and an understanding of and experience in maintaining a garden by carrying out pruning, blowing  and mowing tasks etc. There is a potential garden renovation works in the future.

Candidate specification:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting private family estates. You must be animal friendly as there is a dog in residence. A driver would be required given the location of the property, to run errands in relation to fulfilling their role, and they must have their own vehicle.
