Job Summary: 

My client is a family of 3 looking for a new Housekeeper to join their household! The family consists of mum, dad and a 5 month year daughter. They also have a miniature dachshund in the household. The role is offering part time hours of 9am – 12pm Monday to Friday, but they are happy to accommodate the same hours amongst a four working day week.

They would be looking for a candidate who are very warm and friendly, someone with excellent housekeeping experience and able to provide a smooth and seamless service for the household. This role will not include childcare related duties as they have a Nanny. Driving would be beneficial for any general errands, but the candidate is not required to do any food shopping – as mum loves doing this herself! But any food preparation/cooking would be super helpful.

They would be looking for a start ideally as soon as possible, but can wait a notice period for the right candidate.

Job specification:

Perform general housekeeping duties Daily cleaning and tidying, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors Change bedding and towels Organise cupboards and manage wardrobes Maintain high laundry care standards, including ironing

Ability to work independently and take initiative Reliable, organised, and efficient in all housekeeping tasks Confident in all aspects of housekeeping, including laundry and ironing Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work without supervision Must have recent, checkable references and be willing to complete a trial if selected Enhanced DBS required upon offer stage Happy to be in a household with children Happy to be in a household with pets (small dog)
