Job Summary
Responsible for selling new and used lawn and garden equipment. Focuses on walk-in customers as well as phone calls and email inquiries. The role will average approximately 30 hours per week and is required to work every other Saturday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities -Represents the company for the sale of lawn & garden equipment to customers -Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially sellable by the dealership, with an emphasis on greater than 90hp tractors, implements & attachments as well as other consumer products -Monitors competitive activity/products and communicates feedback to management -Maintains all customer information for sales management -Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events -Conducts new equipment demonstrations -Drive company vehicle and trailer loaded with equipment to and from customer’s property -Prepare equipment for delivery inclusive of: loading trailer, cleaning off, and/or other duties in pre-delivery process -Maintains current knowledge of financing options and sales promotions to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods -Attends applicable sales training events/seminars -Ability to use quoting tools to submit information to the appropriate manager for appraisal   Position Qualifications -1+ years of retail sales experience, strongly preferred within the equipment industry -Knowledge of lawn and garden equipment or operational practices preferred -Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and Outlook -Ability to work flexible hours and every other Saturday -Ability to be insurable under company fleet insurance policy -Ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery processes -Excellent customer relationship skills -Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports -High School Diploma or equivalent work experience Accessibility: If you need an accommodation as part of the employment process please contact Human Resources
