Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities A Master’s degree or higher in Biology, Biological Sciences, Anatomy/Physiology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biomedical Science, Botany, Aquatic Biology, Integrative Biology, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Cellular/Molecular Biology, Neuroanatomy, Neuroscience, Genetics, or Zoology; or a Master’s degree or higher in another area (including a clinical/professional degree such as MD, DDS/DMD, DVM, Nutrition) with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in one of the above disciplines appropriate for credentialing to the course(s) being taught. Preferred Experience and Training • Undergraduate teaching experience.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems and/or classroom technology.
• Familiarity with laboratory technology and/or laboratory interface software.
• Experience teaching online and/or hybrid courses. Physical Requirements The ability to setup and carry standard laboratory equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.
