Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Leasing Professional - Multifamily with Hines, you will be responsible for partnering with the team pertaining to the property’s marketing, advertising, and sales activities. You will also provide resident satisfaction throughout the term of the lease and secure resident lease renewals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Performs all sales and leasing activities to achieve the community’s revenue and occupancy goals.Follows-up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction by sending e-mail or making telephone calls to finalize decisions to lease and/or renew.Inspect apartments prior to occupancy and ensure the apartment is in excellent condition prior to moving in.Uses the on-site property management software to track apartment availability, record traffic and leasing activities, manage resident and prospect data.Ensures that the community and vacant units meet the Company’s standards by daily inspecting the amenities, common areas, and vacant units.Conduct property tours to future residents and visitorsProcess documentation such as credit screening, criminal background checks, lease and move in packages and lease signing.Develop marketing plans with the goal of sustaining occupancy as well as staying informed about the current market.Use and create promotional items and technology to communicate with potential prospects and generate revenue.Ensure the achievement of the property’s revenue and occupancy goals by directing the marketing, advertising and sales activities as well as ensure the apartments are available for occupancy.Assists the Community Manager with the lease renewal program and the communication process. Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include: 

 

High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.Prior experience in customer service or sales experience preferredBasic to Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft OfficeEntrata experience preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsUse olfactory, auditory, and visual senses to inspect building and detect emergency alarmsOn occasion, perform physical inspections of the property which may include climbing up and down stairs or accessing restrictive openings Ability to lift up to 25lbsThough occurrences are rare, be accessible 24 hours a day in case of an emergency and perform on-site operations management during natural disasters Transfer properties and work overtime as business needs deem appropriate Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysCompensation: $23/hr - $25/hr + discretionary bonus based on property Closing
