The Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley ( UTRGV ) occasionally has the need to hire Part-Time Lecturers to teach in its Bachelor’s program. Responsibilities include delivering quality instruction within the program.
Minimum Qualifications
Master Degree with 3 years work experience.
Discipline Specific Required Qualifications
Degree and Experience in Hospitality and Tourism Management and minimum 3 year experience in the industry.
Preferred Qualification
Management and Operational knowledge and experience Hospitality and Tourism Business operations and strong industry network.

Texas law requires faculty members whose primary language is not English to demonstrate proficiency in English as determined by a satisfactory paper-based test score of 500 (computer-based of 173 or internet-based of 61) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language ( TOEFL ) or a satisfactory test score of 6.0 on the International English Language Testing System ( IELTS ).
