Description We are offering a part time contract employment opportunity in the healthcare industry located in Dallas, Texas, for the position of Medical Billing & Coding Manager. This is part time contract position, working 20 hours a week. The role entails overseeing medical billing operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing billing and coding processes within our team. Responsibilities: • Manage and coordinate all activities related to medical billing. • Ensure all data aligns with federal, state, and insurance regulations for accuracy and compliance. • Supervise medical billers and coders to maintain the correct coding process. • Implement and manage policies, processes, and staff related to billing and coding. • Conduct regular audits to ensure billing accuracy and adherence to laws and regulations. • Keep updated with changes in healthcare regulations and promptly implement them in practice. • Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate documentation of patient care. • Report on billing activities and compliance issues. • Implement necessary corrections to prevent future infractions and maintain compliance. • Rectify billing discrepancies and manage non-compliance issues. • Ensure healthcare providers receive appropriate reimbursement while adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.
