Part Time Office Manager

Job Description

This is a PART TIME ROLE, Monday - Friday, 9am-1pm. 3 month contract covering a leave of absence, potential to extend or convert but not promised. We are seeking an organized and dedicated Office Manager to ensure the efficient operation of our office and breakroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, managing mail and packages, overseeing office supplies, and providing clerical support to the management team.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure the office and breakroom are neat and tidy.Ensure packages are received and distributed, and FedEx packages are sent on time.Sort mail; scan and/or distribute to the appropriate person.Regularly check the facility to ensure that janitorial staff are cleaning the facility to our standards.Assist with purchase orders and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.Ensure office machines and equipment are well maintained, including cleaning and repairs.Provide clerical support as needed to the management team.Maintain snacks and beverages for the breakroom, placing orders weekly.Maintain inventory of office supplies and order new supplies as needed.Maintain office files.Perform other related duties as assigned.Essential SkillsOffice managementMicrosoft OfficeAdministrationOutlookData entryCustomer servicePurchase order managementAdministrative assistanceAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum two years of administrative/office/clerical experience requiredEffective communicator, both verbally and in writingExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong attention to detail and follow throughProven ability to manage time and meet deadlinesProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareWork Environment

The position requires you to be onsite in Alameda 5 days a week from 9 am to 1 pm. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer are required. You must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. The company is growing and recently moved into a larger facility in Alameda to keep up with growth. It is a part-time role with hours from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 1 pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00
