Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Office Manager to join our small, close-knit team. This part-time role offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity for growth within the company. The ideal candidate will have QuickBooks experience from day one and a background in construction is preferred.
Responsibilities
+ Provide administrative support including scanning, accounts receivable (AR), and handling the company website.
+ Take pictures at job sites as needed.
+ Learn and manage accounts payable (AP) and payroll down the line.
+ Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping and office management tasks.
+ Demonstrate a proactive approach by asking 'what can I do next?' after completing tasks.
+ Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with QuickBooks from day one.
+ Experience in a construction environment is preferred.
+ Bookkeeping, office management, and administrative support skills.
+ Proactive and self-motivated attitude.
+ Detail-oriented and a go-getter mindset.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in a similar role such as bookkeeper, admin, or office manager.
+ Ability to grow with the company and take on more responsibilities over time.
+ Strong soft skills including being team-oriented and self-motivated.
Work Environment
You will be working in a small office of 5 people within a construction environment. The team values straightforward communication and has a zero-tolerance policy for drama. There is flexibility in the schedule, allowing for adjustments if children are home or other personal circumstances arise. The role has potential for growth into an office manager position with the possibility of becoming a full-time role in the future. Consistency in hours and days is important, but there is flexibility to accommodate personal needs.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
