About the Opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to temporarily replace an employee on maternity / paternity leave within our Legal Team for 6 months or more, starting in March 2025. 2025년 3월부터 6개월 또는 그 이상 Legal team에서 출산, 육아휴직 대체 근무하실 분을 찾고 있습니다. 관심있으신 분들의 많은 지원 부탁드립니다.
*Work hours: Mon - Fri, 10am - 4pm 근무시간: 월~금요일, 오전 10시 - 오후 4시
* Working location: Mainly Seoul Station and sometimes Yeoksam; but working from home may be allowed from time to time 근무지: 주요 출근지는 서울역이며, 역삼역에 출근해야 할 수 있음 (때에 따라 재택근무 가능)
Your work, which will include but not be limited to the duties listed below, will help WeWork to achieve the following:
Assist the Senior Counsel of South Korea in reviewing and drafting of contracts and other legal documents
Assist the Senior Counsel of South Korea in localization of global forms and documents
Assist the Senior Counsel of South Korea in responding to member complaints and disputes relating to members
Work with the Corporate Secretarial team based in Singapore and its local service providing partner to assist with the Korea business' corporate governance related works, which includes management of corporate seals, and issuance and sending of usage chop certificates (사용인감계) to WeWork Community Teams
Support business stakeholders with document signature approvals and execution processes
Assist in managing and improving contract templates, forms and processes
Manage engagement with external counsel by supporting external and internal communication for ongoing matters and billing processes
Support business stakeholders across the organization on legal escalations, including responding to inquiries with respect to general legal guidelines, policy inquiries and contract-specific questions
Support specialist legal functions (such as Corporate, Compliance, Litigation) that are based in Europe and the US
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below:
Fluent English (both speaking and writing) and Korean (both speaking and writing)
3 years + experience as a legal admin, paralegal, contract manager, legal assistant or in a role with transferable experience
Able to work in a fast-paced, high pressure, entrepreneurial environment
Excellent drafting, proofreading, organization, and communications skills
Responsible, accountable, and results-oriented
Strong academic background (law degree preferred)
Proficiency in G-Suite (or Microsoft Office Suite); adaptable to new technologies
Excited to learn new skills
Must be a team player
