The Program Manager will direct the overall program and individual project leads. The work involves interfacing with multiple customers and developing and managing plans across subcontractors. The Project Manager will be responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of the program. The PM can work remotely and will be supported by a full-service Program Management Office as well as a technical and operational team of key personnel. What You Will Do + Responsible for the profit and loss (P and L) of a complex program(s). + Responsible for providing program management oversight to a single customer requiring coordination of program requirements across planning stages with several subcontractors. + Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Program may be based out of a single location utilizing established technologies requiring standard application to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems. + Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs. + Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. + Develops new business or expands services with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. + Directs the work of employees assigned to the program. What We Are Looking For + 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience. + Experience in project management of defense contracts. + Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence. + Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives. + Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands. + Demonstrated communication skills, both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management. Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. + Must have active SECRET clearance with the ability to gain and maintain a TS clearance with SCI eligibility based on a Single Source Background Investigation (SSBI). Preferred: Bonus Points For... + Experience leading and managing a training team providing multiple courses of instruction in a variety of locations. + Experience managing performance-based projects and/or programs with multiple international performance locations. + Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations. + Master’s degree. + 5+ years’ experience managing projects with Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) requirements, regulations, and processes. #LI-NM1 HII is more than a job - it’s an opportunity to build a new future.
