A private organization is hiring a Property Manager in Fort Lauderdale, 33301. This is a long term “permanent” position offering part time hours.

About the facility: The compound boasts over 30,000 sq ft of grounds. This includes a complex building (historic building) with extensive blueprints spanning almost 100 years. Additionally there is a small private school, playground, large parking lot and multiple outbuildings.

About the position: The role will oversee large maintenance projects (roofing projects, building remodels, plumbing or electrical issues. The day to day maintenance of the facility is handled by the on-site groundskeeper (changing light bulbs, air filters, small paint jobs, etc). Administrative tasks are limited and project focused as the current office management handles the day to day tasks.

The ideal applicant will have property management experience or a background involving industrial engineer or general construction contractor work. A degree is strongly preferred but not required.
