\n \n Job Description

Summary: Responsible for opening and/or closing the facilities, assisting in administering, and enforcing, rules and regulations, policies and implementing procedures.

\n Requirements

Pay Range: $19.25 - $20.25

\n

\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities including the following. Other duties may be assigned.

\n

\n

Perform all opening/closing procedures affiliated with Lodge:

\n\nThis includes walking the facility throughout your shift for safety and maintenance issues, looking for damages, repairs and cleanliness and filling out opening/closing checklists. Tasks on the checklists to include but not limited to: unlocking/locking doors to the facility, turning off and setting alarm, turning on/off electronics (music, display board) and all lights in the facility, making sure sign-in sheets are ready, preparing coffee, water and tea. Refilling the coffee station. Inputting work orders in a timely manner. Check pool and spa water temps twice during your shift and logging it in the pool/spa log.\n\n

Daily, provide customer service to homeowners/guests by:

\n\nGreet all residents and guests as they enter the facility.\nConvey a consistent, positive, upbeat demeanor when communicating with residents, vendors, contractors and guests. \nHave knowledge of rules and regulations, and policies established by the Board of Directors and be able to implement them.\nAnswer various questions that residents may have regarding facility usage and events.\nHandle resident issues in a polite and patient manner. Report any issues or concerns residents may have to GM.\nAnswer phones promptly and in a professional and courteous manner at all times. \nReview and respond responding to emails and phone calls within 24 hrs.\nEnsure the homeowners (with guests) complete the sign-in log upon entering the facility.\nEnsure the front desk is neat and tidy at all times. \nHave knowledge of facility and when items are urgent and should be reported to GM. \nBasic office duties (photocopying, filing, faxing paperwork, light typing, record keeping, etc.)\nObtain age verifications, property profiles and directory forms from new homeowners and residents in order to issue fob access.\nPrepare and distribute incident reports when required.\nEnforcement of pool and spa rules, as shown in pool area. \nKeep all rooms and outdoor recreation areas neat and clean, to include but not limited to: pushing in chairs, returning pitchers and glasses to kitchen, put games and equipment away, books are returned to library, open and close umbrellas, tightening nets on the courts, picking up trash, etc. \nCheck out sports equipment.\nPerform room set-ups/take downs for reserved events, clubs and committees. This includes putting away all chairs, tables, etc. \nAssist Activities Director with events, excursions, reservations for various rooms in Outlook, providing Activities Director copies of all tentative reservations.\nSpeak effectively when answering various questions that residents may have regarding facility usage and events. \nHandle sign-ups for events, classes, excursions, etc. \nCover shifts when needed.\nOther duties, as assigned, to insure a smooth operation.\n\n

Oral /Written Communication Skills

Must be able to converse with homeowners in a clear, concise, understanding and sensitive manner. Must be able to write basic announcements. Must be adept in one-on-one communications and have superior telephone demeanor/skills. Must be an attentive, aware listener. Must have the ability to be firm at times and flexible at other times and to recognize the appropriate time for each.

Education/Experience:

\n

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

\n

\n

Language Ability:

\n

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to homeowners, vendors, contractors and other visitors.

\n

\n

Math Ability:

\n

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

\n

\n

Reasoning Ability:

\n

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

\n
