This position provides Facility Security for all events at Amalie Arena and is responsible for the protection and safeguarding of guests and employees. This position reports to the Security Manager. This position may also support USF's Yuengling Center or other VSG facilities on a part-time schedule overall.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide all guests a positive first impression by offering World Class ServiceProvide guests with accurate arena and event informationEnforce building policies and proceduresAccurately check all staff/guest bags prior to entering the arenaRespond to all emergencies during the eventAccurately and thoroughly complete incident reportsWork cooperatively with all staff members, law enforcement officers and fire/rescue personnelRespond to all guests’ concerns/complaints in a prompt, courteous and professional mannerMonitor the crowd during all events to ensure safety for allVerify credentials to control access into restricted areasMaintain a clean and neat appearance during work hoursPerform other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

Compliance with our company policy of Background ChecksKnowledge of the Security Chain of CommandSecurity license preferred, Law Enforcement or Military backgroundExcellent customer service skillsKnowledge and skill in radio communicationExcellent verbal communication skills required with a thorough understanding of written and spoken English.
