About the Role:
We are seeking a savvy, motivated, and proactive Temporary Advocacy & Education Social Media Specialist to support our U.S. Education, Advocacy, and Operations division. This junior-level role is ideal for someone with strong social media skills and a knack for creating innovative, visually appealing content tailored to digital platforms.
Reporting to a California-based manager, this role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to collaborate closely with the U.S. Communications team to drive impactful social media strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop visually engaging and innovative social media content using Canva, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and strategic priorities.Analyze competitor activity and social media trends to inspire creative assets and strategies for the brand.Work closely with the Education, Advocacy, and Operations team to highlight key initiatives and campaigns.Adapt content to suit various platforms and audience needs, ensuring maximum engagement.Monitor and report on social media performance, offering recommendations for growth and improvement.Qualifications:
Junior-level experience in social media content creation, with an emphasis on graphic design.Proficiency in Canva and a strong eye for design.Proactive mindset with the ability to research competitors and interpret data for content innovation.Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective best practices.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.Additional Details:
This is a part-time role, offering approximately 20 hours per week. The work schedule is flexible and can accommodate other responsibilities.The position is fully remote. While the role is currently slated for six months, there is potential for extension, depending on workload and performance, though this cannot be guaranteed.
