Part Time- SUSHI Chef

We are looking for a Sushi Chef to join our Whitsons culinary team and prepare sushi for school locations.
Sushi Chef responsibilities include handling a wide range of sushi ingredients, managing food stock and working with an attention to detail to fulfill all orders within quality standards. To be successful in this role, you should have experience as a Sushi Chef and be available to work in the Ossining Location. You need to have good knowledge and experience of sushi types and sushi-rolling techniques. Working hours will be part-time and flexible during workdays only. You need to have the ability to work both fast and accurately and have team spirit. Maintaining of hygiene principals in all areas and be knowledgeable about allergens and clean space at the end of the shift. Ensure compliance with all portioning, plate presentations and quality guidelines. Maintain a sanitary and attractive work area at all times. Clean as you go. Stock enough supplies at your station to last the entire day. Menu signage is to be neat, clean, colorful and complete. Set up attractive display plates when needed. Must adhere to all Whitsons policies Perform additional duties as assigned.Payrate - $19/hour PT
