Immediately Hiring and Seating a Part Time Class A CDL Shuttle Transfer Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Ocala, FL

Driver Positions Pay WeeklyHourly Pay: $18-$19 Per HourPaid TrainingHours Per Week: 20 to 30 hours per weekHome Time: Local - Home DailyShift: Scheduled and OnCall HoursHours: All Morning Dispatch - Day Shift

All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities

Route: Shuttle Equipment between Ryder Customer FacilitiesFreight: No Touch - Empty Trailers for Equipment Shuttle Transfer Movement

  Requirements Minimum 21 years of agePass a Ryder Drug TestPass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 yearsPass a DOT physicalPass a Ryder road testProvide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the positionMust have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR5 years’ experience within the last 10 yearsAbility to follow written and/or oral instructionsAbility to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service
