The Transport Clerk is responsible for the timely arrival of deliveries to our customers through the scheduling of customer delivery appointments and the tracking of on-time-delivery performance.
Job Responsibilities• Schedule customer delivery appointments.
• Resolve customer P.O. discrepancies with customer service.
• Communicate with customer service regarding re-scheduled delivery appointments.
• Communicate with drivers/carriers in an effective and timely manner.
• Ability to manage and use different customer online appointment scheduling systems proficiently.
• All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures.
• All GLC employees are expected to produce and promote our products and services in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program.
