Job Title: Partner – Banking & Finance (Sustainability Focus)
Reporting To: Country Managing Partner

Role Overview:
This role is focused on driving the firm’s sustainability consulting services in the Banking and Finance sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background, significant consulting experience, and an understanding of sustainability practices. The partner will lead client engagements, drive business development, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable solutions tailored to financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:

Lead business development efforts targeting the Banking and Finance sector.Build strong relationships with senior-level stakeholders in banks, financial institutions, and related entities.Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.Identify opportunities for consulting projects, focusing on sustainability-driven transformation.

Consulting Expertise:

Lead consulting engagements from inception to delivery, ensuring high client satisfaction and alignment with business goals.Offer advisory services in areas such as sustainable finance, risk management, ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) compliance, and climate risk.Customize sustainability solutions for financial sector clients, integrating them with operational and strategic business objectives.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants and foster a collaborative, innovative culture.

Sustainability Leadership:

Stay ahead of trends in sustainability, particularly related to financial markets and regulations.Champion sustainability initiatives and integrate them into client offerings, ensuring alignment with global standards like the UN SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).Develop internal and external thought leadership on sustainable finance and climate-related risks.Engage in public forums, conferences, and events to promote the firm’s sustainability agenda.

Qualifications:

15+ years of experience in Banking and Finance, with at least 7 years in a sales leadership or consulting role.Proven track record of building and managing high-value client relationships.Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, particularly in relation to finance (ESG, sustainable finance, green bonds, etc.).Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Master’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field. An advanced qualification in Sustainability is a plus.
