Partner Account Manager

 

Job Overview

This position is responsible to drive sales with and through their assigned partners by acting as the sales manager for company products within assigned partners. Manage relationships with assigned partners and ensure the partner business plans are well conceived and executed.


Key Responsibilities

Hold sales revenue quota for a defined group of partners. Drive sales with and through assigned practice area partners: Execute the partner program agreement(s) Initiate and support collaborative sales pursuits Manage joint opportunities Configure, price and quote joint solutions Negotiate final customer contracts, per agreement with partner Collaborate with partners throughout the sales process Review assigned practice area partner discounts/rebates/commissions Provide input into: Key partner enablers Assigned partner Joint Business Plans, including partner enablement, joint marketing and sales plans, and KPIs Assigned partner joint marketing assets Performance evaluation of assigned partner joint marketing campaignsReports to the Sales Manager:Sales ForecastingWeekly sales progressCreate and review account plans

Location

Tokyo, JapanRemote work possible (Required Comes to office three times a week)Business travel is required

Preferred Education

Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in a business and/or technology field.

Work Experience

Typically 3 or more years with proven results in the disciplines necessary to grow Partner Business (planning, enablement, sales management, partner management) with an understanding of technology and technological innovations.
