Partner Business / Development Manager – SMB Partner Coverage and Growth

We are seeking a dynamic Partner Development Manager to focus on engaging, managing, and growing our portfolio of smaller partners. This role is pivotal in identifying partners with potential, nurturing relationships, and enabling them to expand their impact within our ecosystem. The ideal candidate will excel in analyzing partner potential, tailoring development strategies, and driving mutual success.
 

Please note that it's a fixed-term role for 2 years. Extension to permanent position is possible but not guarantee.

Key Responsibilities:
 

1. Partner Identification and Coverage:

Proactively map and identify smaller partners within assigned territories or segments.

Evaluate partners' potential for growth based on performance metrics, market insights, and alignment with our offerings.

Develop a strategy to engage and prioritize high-potential partners for targeted development efforts.

2. Partner Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of smaller partners, ensuring they are supported and engaged.

Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships, fostering loyalty and long-term collaboration.

3. Business Growth and Enablement:

Collaborate with partners to develop growth plans, focusing on areas like product adoption, market expansion, and sales enablement.

Equip partners with training, resources, and tools to drive their success and maximize their impact.

Organize workshops and initiatives tailored for smaller partners to enhance their capabilities and market reach.

4. Performance Monitoring and Insights:

Track partner performance against defined KPIs and growth objectives.

Use data insights to assess partner potential and guide development strategies.

Provide regular feedback and actionable recommendations to partners for continuous improvement.

5. Internal Collaboration and Advocacy:

Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align smaller partner initiatives with broader organizational goals.

Advocate for the needs and growth of smaller partners within the organization, ensuring they receive the necessary support and recognition.
 

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in enterprise selling, channel & alliance, or a related field.
