**Job Description:**
**About the Role** :
As a Partner Business Manager at VMware by Broadcom, you will drive the success of strategic reseller partnerships across designated regions. By building and executing joint business plans, you will help partners achieve their goals while advancing VMware’s growth initiatives. This role combines strategic relationship management, sales enablement, and cross-functional collaboration to support partners in delivering value to their customers.
**Key Responsibilities** :
**Revenue Generation and Pipeline Development** :
+ Achieve and exceed quota assignments by driving Annual Billing Value (ABV) growth.
+ Guide partners to build and expand their sales pipeline with VMware’s portfolio, focusing on the installed base renewal and net-new opportunities.
+ Work hands-on with partners and internal teams to maximize pipeline and bookings.
**Partner Relationship Management** :
+ Establish and maintain strong relationships with partner leadership, sales, pre-sales, and marketing teams.
+ Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and engage in regular strategic planning to align goals and activities.
+ Support partners in resolving escalations and accessing VMware resources effectively.
**Enablement and Development** :
+ Equip partners with the tools, training, and insights they need to excel in selling VMware’s solutions, including market trends and best practices.
+ Foster partners’ technical and sales capabilities to drive customer success.
+ Guide partner through evolution of Broadcom’s partner program and ensure their alignment.
**Execution of Go-to-Market Strategies** :
+ Collaborate with partners to develop and implement marketing plans, co-branded activities, and demand-generation programs.
+ Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of strategic initiatives and joint campaigns.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration** :
+ Act as the main liaison between partners and VMware’s internal teams, facilitating engagement at all levels, including C-suite.
+ Support partners in deploying VMware solutions and driving digital transformation for end customers.
**What Success Looks Like** (First 6-12 Months):
+ Growth in ABV and partner-driven pipeline development.
+ Established trust and strong collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.
+ Delivery of impactful business reviews and successful execution of partner investment programs.
+ Demonstrable partner satisfaction and mutual growth in VMware and partner businesses.
**Preferred Qualifications** :
+ Experience in channel sales or partner management, ideally within the software industry.
+ Strong relationship-building and strategic planning skills.
+ Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation abilities.
+ Familiarity with VMware’s product suite is a plus.
**Work Environment** :
This flexible role allows a combination of remote work and office presence, with regular travel to partner sites. Collaboration with a diverse, high-performing team across regions is integral to success.
