Partner Development Manager - Microsoft EMEA

Snowflake is experiencing exponential growth, and we are expanding our Alliances team to help us scale. As a Regional Cloud Lead, you will play an integral role in deepening Snowflake’s relationships with our strategic cloud partners and translating those relationships into an effective joint go-to-market.  

Reporting to the Senior Manager, EMEA Cloud, you will have a unique opportunity to work for the leading Data Cloud company in the world and lead the development of Snowflake’s cloud go-to-market with Microsoft in the region.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the Microsoft partnership across a specified, prioritised EMEA region for Snowflake.

Proactively building trust-based relationships with the Microsoft sales teams, management and Executive leadership teams, articulating Snowflake’s unique value proposition in driving adoption of the Snowflake & Microsoft platforms and deep Snowflake/Microsoft integrations.

Enable Microsoft sellers and technical roles (ATU, STU, CSU) on why Snowflake is a great partner solution to drive consumption and accelerate customer time-to-value. Own the quality of Co-Sell engagements end to end.

Create clarity on our partnership. Manage unique and challenging relationship dynamics that include both competitive and collaborative scenarios. 

Develop joint sales strategies & own the GTM with Microsoft for the region, that enables collaboration between Snowflake and the Microsoft teams. Assist in managing field sales co-sell program execution.

Collaborate and lead best practices with Snowflake & Microsoft Alliance peers WW.

Work with partner operations to accurately measure the efficacy of field programs and associated sales impact;  deal registration, joint pipeline, referenceable wins, etc.

Build relationships with Snowflake’s sales teams and regional sales leadership, serving as the primary point of contact and escalation point for joint sales and Co-Sell with Microsoft.

Own and manage the Microsoft credits and investment program for the regions and utilise on opportunities.

Analyse growth trends and recommend new Snowflake regions or investment opportunities to leadership.

Collaborate with marketing to design and implement marketing programs to achieve revenue goals.

 ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:

8 years of relevant sales and/or alliance experience.

2+ years of experience partnering with Microsoft Azure.

Experience working across the EMEA region, with relationships and expertise

Prior background in Enterprise software and SaaS  - industry selling experience preferred.

Proven success in managing alliance partnerships and the ability to identify and capitalise on areas of mutual business interests.

Strong verbal and executive presentation skills.

Strong skills in multitasking, communication, negotiation, organisation and teamwork.

Proven self-starter with a high degree of initiative and ability to learn quickly

Ability to travel as needed.

Fluent in French language
