Job Description

Reporting to the Global Manager, Partner Technical Enablement

You will specifically focus on helping partners bring value to customers with the Plex Smart Manufacturing Platform includes MES, ERP, supply chain management, Industrial IoT, and analytics as part of the Rockwell Automation portfolio.

The MES Partner Technical Enablement Consultant is focused on supporting partners in their initial customer pursuits being a trusted advisor, and an extended team member to:

support their capability to position, sell, propose and execute initial implementations.With care for the portfolio components defined by the Market Access Team.You will be dedicated to supporting the Global Sales & Marketing - Market Access team focused on our Global Systems Integrators, Regional Systems Integrators.You will provide technical expertise to targeted, global partners in the following activities:Mentor & Educate our Partners on our Portfolio with specific focus on PLEX, cloud native ERP and MES with an understanding of how this offering drives value with the rest of the Rockwell Automation portfolioSupport Partner sales and technical strategies, plans and executionPrepare technical materials, presentations, workshops, training classes and tools to improve partner effectiveness.Determine technology portfolio associated with Use Case(s) identified during Partner sales pursuitSupport development/validation of integrated reference architectures when adopting solutions provided by PartnersTechnical Mentoring on the Rockwell Automation MES and IoT portfolio for Regional and Global System Integrator PartnersTravel to site working with Partners on positioning, quoting, architecting and guidance on delivery best practices

Qualifications

MES and SaaS PreSales and Consulting/Implementation experience with a project execution background ;5+ years specific experience with PLEX Smart Manufacturing Platform (Cloud native -MES, ERP, supply chain management, Industrial IoT, and analytics) and/or PharmaSuite, FactoryTalk Production Center desiredIOT and/or IIOT experience is also a plusPartner enablement experience – proven success working with partners to drive successful sales and implementation outcomesCustomer focused attitude with Partner AcumenWorks on issues of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factorsReceives guidelines and goals on new assignments and is expected to develop their own plan to achieve these goals; ability to support multiple partners in parallel.Ability to manage an ad-hoc team of individuals in order to meet a project goal.Stays current and be conversant with the latest relevant technologies and competitive offerings

Additional Qualifications

BA/BS preferably in Business, Supply Chain Management, CIS or related field, or equivalent experience in implementing, consulting, or supporting a MES system5+ years of experience within the manufacturing industry / operations and experience implementing a MESThe ability to configure software to meet customer requirements, troubleshoot and solve issues and test/validates software configuration both internally and with clientConversant on business drivers associated with technology

Travel requierement more than 50% Domestic and International (America)
