Partner Manager II
Summary/Objective

The role of the Partner Manager to nurture relationships with sales partners, as well as leverage data and industry knowledge to optimize ongoing relationships, increase mutually beneficial value propositions and refine ongoing sales strategies. By scaling the channel program, spearheading tactical partnerships, and maximizing efficiencies, the Partner Manager will strengthen our presence amongst new audiences, via our partners, and help grow revenue, value and industry presence.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities Cultivate meaningful relationships with partners by understanding their individual goals and helping to find mutually beneficial solutions Strategically utilize technology to help partners leverage content marketing initiatives, as well as interpret KPIs to measure success and improve tactics Actively assess emerging technologies and how to leverage them for our own program’s success Collaborate with Direct Sales, Marketing and Legal, internally advocating for partners training and content needs to improve performance and program retention Ensure partner conduct is consistent with Paymentus brand, values, and compliance guidelines Stay abreast of industry trends and new practices to enhance program processes and maintain overall competitiveness within the marketplace Develop and execute partner engagement and support strategies to drive revenue and demand Educate partners on new product offerings, promotions, and product updates Interact with Directors of Sales and Executive Team to report on leads, progress to targets and opportunities for strengthening the partnership Be the lead person on all partner conferences, user groups and opportunities for joint marketing Partner Manager Skills and Competencies

Highly analytical, able to extract meaning from data and refine strategies accordingly

Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to forecast sales, refine marketing and sales strategies, and presenting business plans to leadership

Emotional intelligence (EQ), required for productively communicating with different personalities to build and uphold partner relationships

Skilled at negotiation, business strategy optimization, and change management

Able to curate and present reports and presentations to multiple levels of organization

Ability to interpret and communicate complicated technological and analytical data in a consumable manner to variable audiences

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have any supervisory responsibility or direct reports

Education and Experience Minimum 5+ Years of partner, strategic or marketing experience, preferably within software sales, strong technology services, financial software governmental sales or high growth environments Proven ability to provide excellent strategic guidance and relevant information Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment that is motivated by sales Capable of participating or presenting reports to executive leadership Proven track record of participation in an environment of growth year-over-year Experience handling confidential, proprietary or sensitive information Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or a related field Must be able to travel, and have valid driver’s license with no major driving violations Work Environment

This job operates remotely with an expectation of professionalism. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, during normal business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Travel to meet with team members, clients or potential clients will be required on occasion. Travel requirement is up to 25%; however, travel may be greater or less than this percentage during certain periods of the year.
