BASIC FUNCTION

 

Position Overview

 

The Partner Coordinator is responsible for providing outstanding support to the assigned Vendor Alliance Manager managing and developing the relationship between Insight and its strategic partners. The Partner Coordinator will be executing the partner management process and help implement marketing plans that impact various go-to-market initiatives to achieve growth and profitability objectives. This position will require the ability to understand and fulfill partner incentive and marketing programs to sales and marketing teammates.

 

The Partner Coordinator will also provide pre-sales support in the context of answering inquiries from sales, providing product recommendations and information, support in pipeline management by working on deal registrations and renewals.

 

What you’ll do at Insight

 

The Partner Coordinator will be responsible for developing efficient practices to serve business needs Support in pipeline management by working on deal registrations to align with partner incentive and funding programs Generate reports such as but not limited to open quotes, open orders and market share for both partner and Vendor Alliance Managers Prepare PowerPoint for partner and internal meetings like quarterly business reviews (QBRs) Support with cost, competitive, and pricing analysis Maintain and communicate with stakeholders the current product listings by removing end-of-life SKU and creating newly launched products Attend and participate in meetings or cadence calls with partners and Vendor Alliance Managers Safeguard timely completion of marketing activities/assets and proof of execution submission required to receive partner provided marketing development funds (MDF) Work with Partner Accounting Team to reconcile and close the previous quarter Help identify account owners for pipeline opportunities and perform account mapping with partners Monitor and track sales-related contests or spiff results and approval process Request marketing assets such as banners, promotional flyers, and other partner collaterals Undergo technical training and attain sales certification about Partner’s products and pricing program Answer basic product, pricing, process inquiries, and other partner-related questions Create and send out calendar reminders for deal registration renewals to sales reps. Work with Bid Team for resubmission of deal registrations Send out 60-day and 30-day notices for upcoming license or service renewals Work on special projects for partners and Vendor Alliance Managers Manage and track vendor program compliance, tracking of certification requirements, competency attainment and other relevant KPIs and providing timely alerting to stakeholders Build relationships with other departments such as customer success, operations, finance, marketing and sales Improve processes and provide feedback and suggestions to resolve issues related to their assigned responsibilities

 

 

What you’ll need to join Insight

 

A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred Experience in Mathematical/Financial/Data background or similar role Experience in partner management, business development, or similar role Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile financial data with Partner Accounting Team Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders Ability to generate and analyze reports, including open quotes, open orders, and market share data Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for preparing presentations for partner and internal meetings Proactive approach to improving processes and providing feedback for issue resolution
