Databricks is seeking an experienced Data Manager to join our Partner Operations team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Partner Operations, you will play a key role in optimizing and enhancing the processes, systems, and workflows that support Databricks' Partner data, leveraging a data-driven approach. You will ensure the integrity and alignment of partner data across the organization, driving operational efficiencies and helping to shape the future of the Databricks partner ecosystem.
The Partner Strategy & Operations team supports Databricks' extensive ecosystem of Consulting & SI (C&SI), Cloud, and ISV partners, including their recruitment, training, and ongoing partnership management. Our team is highly focused on driving operational scale within an exceptionally high-growth environment. We equip stakeholders and senior leadership with the insights, tools, and decision criteria needed to inform proactive, effective, and data-driven programmatic strategies.
The impact you will have:
Solve complex issues by leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis, reporting, and translating data into actionable insights. Own the integrity and accuracy of partner-related data across systems, ensuring that the data is structured, consistent, and reliable. Define data quality standards and guidelines for partner data, ensuring compliance and alignment with best practices. Implement data quality control processes, including regular audits, to ensure consistency and eliminate data discrepancies. Demonstrate the ability to convey insights through data to senior leadership and other key stakeholders. Conduct deep dives into the drivers of performance for Partner Operations and the extended Partner Sales team. Lead collaborations with cross-functional teams to streamline partner operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Implement process improvements, system integrations, and operational efficiencies in a complex environment.What we look for:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field; an MBA is preferred. 5+ years of experience in operations management, with a focus on data management, data quality, and analytics within Partner Operations. Technical and fluent in Salesforce (CRM) and Partner Portals (PRM). Proficient in Salesforce reporting, business processes and have experience in managing PRM systems. A proven track record of implementing process improvements, system integrations, and operational efficiencies in complex environments. Expertise in engaging with and managing diverse stakeholder relationships effectively. Proficiency in creating data visualization reports and connecting data using various data management tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, etc.). Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Salesforce, Power BI, SQL). Experience in operations process design, particularly in relation to sales or partner operations, and Partner Relationship Management (PRM) systems is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for effective cross-functional collaboration. Expertise in process documentation using tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, etc.About Databricks
