The Basics:
Reporting to the Head of Global Partner Development and Strategy, Tanium is seeking a Partner Program Director. This role is responsible for driving global program development supporting our expanding partner ecosystem. The ideal candidate for this position will design new partner programs and maintain existing programs that align with Tanium’s long and short term goals of increasing partner revenue and global reach across the partner ecosystem.
This position will work closely with internal teams including Partner Operations, Partner Marketing, Partner Enablement, various partner organizations, Sales, Finance, Legal and other groups within Tanium that support the overall Alliances and Partners organization.
What you'll do:
Define the vision and architect all program frameworks and processes. Create the program requirements and benefits and bring programs to fruition. Work closely with the Tanium partner teams around the world to gather program requirements, timelines and budgets necessary to drive program success. Create extensive budget and program ROI metrics to ensure a constant understanding of program success and recommend course corrections. Work closely with legal and finance departments at Tanium to properly budget and ensure legal compliance of all program elements. Work closely with partner leaders around the world and determine specific needs or requirements for programs to meet specific global objectives. Work with operations teams to ensure all downstream reporting, payments, portals and any other tools are in place to successfully launch or modify any partner program. Work closely with the head of Global Partner Development and Strategy to ensure all program needs met Tanium’s strategic imperatives. Work with our partner enablement team to develop certification programs and competency assessments. Use your robust industry knowledge to evaluate trends, partner values, cultural shifts and behaviors to ensure programs are carefully thought through. Present partner program ideas and results to senior management at Tanium.We’re looking for someone with:
10+ years experience working with partner programs, preferable with a large organization that has a large global partner ecosystem. Experience working in a Tier-1and Tier-2 software company partner organization. Experience building or operating in multi-type and multi-tier partner programs that include the world’s leading Global System Integrators, Infrastructure providers, Service Providers, ISVs, Technology partners and the broader Partner community. Rich understanding of financial models, program ROI and other metrics that demonstrate program effectiveness. Project management skills and strong attention to details. Ability to operate in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Team player with proven track record in working effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong ability to influence at all levels, internally and externally. Creative with a drive to build something new. Bachelor's degree required.About Tanium

What you’ll get
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $82,000 to $245,000 and this position will also be commission eligible. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.
