Job Summary
• This role is responsible for interacting with partners to provide product information, analyze sales opportunities, and achieve quotas. The role assists in business plan development, collaborating within the sales team, maintaining a sales pipeline, and sharing insights with the managers. The role nurtures professional relationships with partner organizations to support sales strategies.
Responsibilities
• Interacts with partners, providing information about products, services, promotions, and configurations.
• Analyzes sales opportunities and prepares relevant sales material to share with partners within a designated area of focus.
• Achieves assigned quotas for organization products, services, and software by effectively promoting and selling them.
• Assists in developing joint business plans with partners, outlining sales goals, marketing activities, and resource allocation in adherence to legal and ethical practices.
• Collaborates with a team of sales professionals, engaging in transactional selling activities.
• Engages with partners to maintain an accurate sales pipeline, tracking opportunities from initial contact to deal closure.
• Provides insights to partner account managers or end-user sales teams regarding partners' capabilities and strengths.
• Performs market analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to support the development of partner sales strategies.
• Maintains professional relationships with partner organizations, fostering trust and collaboration.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in enterprise selling, channel & alliance, or a related field.
