Get to Know the Team

You will be part of GrabAcademy, the Training & Partnerships team dedicated to provide holistic learning and development support for our driver-, delivery-, and merchant-partners in Singapore.

The role co-leads the Grab SkillsFuture Queen Bee initiative, a nationwide upskilling programme launched by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). Through this initiative, Grab supports Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Food Services sector to bridge skills gaps and meet their needs.

Additionally, you will be involved in training facilitation and delivery, marketing, business development and related activities to create meaningful impact for our partners, consumers, and the community.

Get to Know the Role

You will report to the Head of Training Strategy and Partnerships, at the Grab Tampines office, to drive the development and implementation of skills, training solutions and interventions to achieve business growth and transformation for the network of Grab partners and the Food Services Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) within our value chain.

You will:

Lead research on industry landscape and market trends, including liaising with various stakeholders within and beyond Grab, to understand critical skills requirements, project future skills demand and business objectivesDiagnose the skills gaps and needs and identify measurements of the success of the networkFormulate a training needs analysis plan by identifying skills and training opportunities, reviewing existing skills and training solutions and interventions, sourcing for new and/or developing bespoke skills and training solutions and interventions to address the needs of industry and Grab's business verticals;Leverage Skills Frameworks and SkillsFuture resources in creating the skills and training solutions and interventions;Develop an implementation plan and organise the participation of SMEs in the network;Manage and foster relationships with multiple stakeholders in the network to ensure effective and sustainable implementation;Evaluate the effectiveness of the skills and training solutions and interventions and fine-tune the long-term implementation plan.

This role is based onsite in the Grab Tampines office.

This role is a contract position with a 3-5 year duration.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Engage key stakeholders from multiple business verticals to identify training collaboration opportunities and issues that may ariseCurate and propose training interventions and development for potential ad-hoc projectsDevelop strategies and content to communicate, influence and promote the value of all training projects and their initiativesConduct 1:1 and group engagements with SMEs to understand their needs, propose and develop relevant training interventionsWork with the Training team and stakeholders to ensure the smooth running and quality of the projectsAttend business meetings with existing and potential training partners or regulatory bodiesFacilitate and deliver trainingsProvide regular updates to the stakeholdersAssist the department in the daily operationsManage other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

Relevant Bachelor's Degree; in BusinessMinimum 10 years of professional experience, with Learning & Development and project management experienceCertification in ACTA/ACLPStrong communication and presentation skillsExcellent notetaking and writing skillsCritical thinking, problem solving, and organisation skillsSelf-starter, independent worker and team player, who is passionate about helping others developWork well with different teamsAble to work in a fast paced and agile environment

Business Development or Marketing experienceExperience in the F&B sectorDACE/DDDLP certificationExperience working with SMEs
