Job Title: Partnership Director This position is being funded by MSAP.Location:ELSCFTE:1.0 General Scope of Responsibilities:The Partnership Director will develop partnerships and serve as the liaison between CRCSD, the community, and business partners. These partnerships are critical to providing authentic educational opportunities to cultivate experiences between students and community partners.Reports to:Chief of Innovation and ResearchEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Activate a network of business, nonprofit, or community partners who will invest time and talent to support experiential learning, service learning, work-based learning, and inquiry-learning opportunities for students and including, but not limited to, field trips, job shadows, student internships, teacher externships, and guest speakers.
+ Develop and manage a tiered framework for partner engagement
+ Collaborate closely with the communications department to devise strategies that enhance brand recognition and expand audiences for particular partners
+ Work with the district’s work-based learning readiness facilitator to create opportunities along our College & Career Support Continuum
+ Development of marketing materials to support College & Career Academies and Pathways.
+ Represent the district on various community group committees and boards
+ Engage diverse stakeholders to build strong public-private partnerships.
+ Collaborate with staff to gain understanding of student needs and curriculum
+ Visit new and expanding industries and businesses to identify new skills, equipment, and materials that may be incorporated into the curriculum.
+ Seek opportunities in business and industry for students to extend their learning outside of the classroom
+ Develop strong relationships with business and industry to ensure awareness of opportunities for our students and serve as the liaison between the district and business and industry.
+ Facilitate advisory meetings for the purpose of networking, enhancing partnerships, and providing experiential learning opportunities for students.
+ In partnership with district and school leadership teams support work in the Strategic Plan of Action, Powered by Foresight aligning collaborative efforts based on the National Standards of Practice (NSOP) of the National Career Academy Coalition.
+ Monitor and track involvement data of business and industry partners.
Qualifications:Education:Master’s degree in education, business, community relations, or a related field.Experience:At least 3-5 years of experience in education, community outreach, workforce development, or a related field, with experience in coordinating partnerships and work-based learning programs.Skills:
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage diverse stakeholders, including business leaders, community organizations, and educators.
+ Knowledge of work-based learning models, career and technical education, and workforce development practices.
+ Ability to integrate real-world industry experience with academic curriculum and instruction.
+ Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with school staff, students, and community partners.
+ Proficiency in using data to monitor program success and identify areas for improvement.
Working Conditions:
+ Full-time, year-round position with occasional evening and weekend work required for events, meetings, and community outreach activities.
+ Some travel within the local community and surrounding areas may be required to meet with business partners and attend events.
