Parts and System Coordinator - Welding, Accessories and Cutting Division

Job Description:

Miller Electric, an ITW company, is seeking a Parts & Systems Coordinator to join the Welding Accessories and Cutting team.  In this product management and technical systems oversight, you will play a key leadership role, driving change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Your strong analytical and interpersonal skills will enable you to lead, coordinate, and support product and data management for the Welding Accessories & Cutting Division and Enterprise service systems.

In this role you will play a key role in helping manage the service parts and machine consumables portfolio with over 11,000 skus in the Welding, Accessories and Cutting facility. You will also lead strategically through oversight of both service systems and processes helping make recommendations to streamline and improve service delivery.

You will directly support our service partners and channel partners while also maintaining relationships cross functionally. This is a great role for someone who loves to balance both the tactical and strategic side the business.

How you will Make an Impact:

Parts Availability and Product Lifecycle:

Ensure Product Availability: Ensure timely availability of service parts for customers and repairs, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory through ITW Toolbox processes. Recommend inventory actions for parts in quartile 2080 and 2020.  Evaluate and authorize minimum-buy and last-time-buy for critical parts based on lifecycle and supply risk assessments.Manage Product Lifecycle: Track the full lifecycle of power sources to support service parts from sourcing to end-of-life.  Define stocking strategies by product categories and EOL requirements. Develop and implement frameworks for parts setup and product line simplification.

Parts Profitability and Data Analysis:

Strategic Pricing: Manage cost-of-repair of top product new equipment pricing.  Perform pricing and margin analysis to ensure sustained profitability. Monitor Parts Performance: Track key metrics related to service parts performance, such as Order Fill Rates, Stockout Rate and Inventory Grading. Competitive Analysis: Provide ad-hoc analysis to Marketing on product relationship with power sources, price position and competitive benchmarking.Cost Optimization: Identify cost reduction opportunities and simplify fulfillment to increase average order value and maintain service quality.

Service Systems and Data Management:

Oversee parts and service management systems (D365, Warranty Portal, Website Locator, CMS).Ensure systems are up-to-date, integrated and optimized for smooth operations.Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with IT and Vendors for resolution.Maintain accurate records and storage of service data.Recommend and implement workflow improvements.

Training and Compliance:

Train service partners, service advisors, technicians and staff on system usage.Act as liaison between Enterprise Technical Service Teams and IT/Vendor.Document standard operating procedures for systems and workflows.Ensure compliance with service agreements and warranty requirements.

Process Improvements:

Lead process improvements from filing warranty claims to paymentsIdentify innovative tools and technologies to efficiently file and process claimsCoordinate changes to service-related tools, brochures, catalogs and marketing materials

What you need to do to be successful in this role:

Knowledge of service operation, supply chain and logistics.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, IT, supply chain, or related discipline.Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel programs.25% travel
