What you will doThe Main Purpose of the Job is to support Volvo Truck customers and the dealer network from a parts perspective. Plan, execute and follow-up major development in area of responsibility. Responsible for managing the Volvo Truck parts business and profitability in the region, whilst managing the logistic setup and interface towards GTO.
Reporting: This position reports to the Senior Manager: Parts & Service Sales.
Job Objectives:
Setting of competitive Parts Pricing with focus on Wholesale and Retail GP margins. Act as a first line contact and support to the dealer network to provide aid in meeting the customer’s needs. Assist dealers in developing and driving their business plans and to identify, support and implement business processes to assist them in achieving their KPI’s. Monitor and assist dealers to achieve their operational targets to enable sustainable market related growth. Assist dealers in building a strategic working customer database through identifying valuable information that will assist the dealer in growing and retaining the customers. Deliver the agreed and committed overall objectives for the function Genuine Parts. Set appropriate objectives, initiate actions, monitor performance and follow-up results. Secure that systems and tools are launched with aftermarket product availability. Manage parts projects considering, GP, initial stock ordering/holding, lead times and associated reporting. Instill a continuous improvement culture. Ensure Parts Consolidated Gross Profit as per Business plan through Genuine Volvo parts sales and Extended sales. Always ensure the highest degree of customer satisfaction. Actively seek to maintain/achieve an increased market share. Conduct regular service offer benchmarks to ensure market competitiveness and captured lost sales/customers. Qualification & Job Experience
Business management diploma or degree (Advantageous). 3-5 years relevant experience in parts business management within the heavy commercial vehicle industry. 3-5 years relevant experience in parts sales (retail and wholesale) within the heavy commercial vehicle industry.
