Parts Coordinator
**Job Title: Parts Coordinator** **Job Description** This role will be the right hand to the Maintenance Manager. You will work closely on a daily basis to ensure all parts are in stock, approve various parts for purchase, and maintain an efficient parts room, which is crucial for the smooth operation of the maintenance team. **Responsibilities** + Obtain quotations from approved and potential suppliers as required to meet production, R&D, and other departmental needs. Ensure all quotations include full cost breakdowns. + Select and order merchandise, materials, gages/fixtures, goods, supplies, and services based on supplier reliability, cost, delivery date, and quality. + Cultivate and maintain a supply base capable of meeting the corporation’s needs. + Take the lead in supplier selection and analyze potential suppliers to stay informed about capabilities and developments in assigned commodities. + Issue blanket orders and spot buys to support production, quality, and other departmental activities. Maintain up-to-date information on all pricing. + Conduct supplier delivery reviews to verify contract details and ensure material delivery on the required dates. + Keep records of items purchased, cost, delivery, product performance, and inventories to prepare various reports such as work orders, requisitions, and cost savings. + Manage and negotiate purchase costs to budget and justify any variance. Develop business strategies and plans to achieve budget targets. + Work with maintenance and suppliers to maintain appropriate tool crib inventory. + Maintain timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate record retention. + Complete projects and prepare reports or presentations as requested by management. + Travel as required. + Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of parts purchasing experience in manufacturing + 2+ years of experience with CMMS and computer fluency + Experience with inventory management, purchasing, and maintenance parts + Experience with tool crib management and parts database software + Strong vendor relationship skills and parts identification knowledge **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior experience in the food industry is a plus, but not required **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where you can make a significant impact on the efficiency and productivity of our maintenance operations. You will have your own computer and desk to work on daily. You will also be required to maintain inventory consistently throughout the week, month, and year. The work hours are typically 7am - 3pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional the person as needed. The dress code includes blue pants, a steel the person shirt (provided), safety glasses, and hearing protection. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Neenah, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
