The Parts Crib Attendant will order and maintain inventory of parts as well as follow our company's Good Manufacturing Practices. We are hiring Immediately! Title: Parts Crib Attendant Work Shift: 8hr-1st Shift from7AM-3:30PM Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Ordering, receiving, maintaining accurate records (data entry, cycle counts) using our inventory system, and preparing weekly reports. Enter data into the inventory system on receipts, consumption, and disbursement or parts. Maintain stock parts and parts room in an organized and clean status. Adhere to department budget and provide weekly reports to the department manager. Maintenance Support: Assisting the maintenance staff with repairs, leveraging your mechanical and electrical aptitude, and learning to operate blow molding machines. Contact vendors for needed repairs. Order and distribute parts for the maintenance department. May assist with mold and neck tooling changes. Assist maintenance staff with mechanical repairs. Organization and Compliance: Maintaining a clean and organized parts room, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies, and resolving part-related issues by contacting vendors. Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies. Other duties as assigned by management. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) to support department budgeting. Minimum Requirements: + Familiarity with tools and mechanical/electrical components necessary for the position. + Must be able to work with minimal supervisory oversight, attentive to detail, and be highly organized. Preferred Qualifications: + Five (5) years related experience supporting maintenance functions in a manufacturing environment. + Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. + Proven experience with inventory management and cycle counting. + Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and Outlook. + Excellent organizational and attention to detail. + A High School diploma, Associates degree (or higher) in a technical field is strongly preferred.
