We are seeking a Parts Distribution Center (PDC) Manager to join our team at our  Parts Distribution Center  in York PA.


In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations as well as the strategic vision of the PDC. You will  have direct supervisory responsibility of supervisors, operational office support staff and indirect supervision of hourly employees. 

Responsibilities

The PDC Manager will serve as an integral member of leadership in the warehouse and will be responsible for the following: 

Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Provides leadership within the warehouse operations team to help drive overall metric performance and meet customer expectations. Ability to lead, direct, coach and motivate personnel to desired outcomes. Safeguards warehouse operations by establishing and monitoring safety and security procedures and protocols Controls inventory levels by ensuring inventory control processes are understood and followed and by analyzing issues, determining and implementing corrective actions to increase inventory accuracy. Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; managing and maintaining housekeeping programs and ensuring that 5S programs are followed. Leads warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results. Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed  Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degreeAt least 10 years of Supply Chain, Logistics, or Distribution/Warehouse experienceAt least 4 years of management experience

OR

Master’s degreeAt least 8 years of Supply Chain, Logistics, or Distribution/Warehouse experienceAt least 4 years of management experience

OR

At least 12 years of Supply Chain, Logistics, or Distribution/Warehouse experienceAt least 4 years of management experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
