Parts Interpreter

Job Description:

Position Summary

This position will champion the customer enquiry relation of parts replacement. This role is responsible for processing the day-to-day customer parts requests, ensuring targets are achieved and build on customer supply growth. The role will promote a safety-first work culture across all interactions with internal and external stakeholders. Role is based out of the Terex Jaques Queensland office in Eagle Farm.

Responsibilities

Participate in and comply with the company’s safety-first culture.

Understand and comply with company 5S standards for warehouse operations.

Ensure daily and monthly targets are achieved, while ensuring compliance.

Assist customers with identifying the correct parts and ensure that all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.

Prepare quotes, sales orders, and other documentation, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of parts.

Ensure customers are kept informed of any changes to the promised delivery date.

Follow up on quotations with customers to further promote parts sales and note special interests.

Closely monitor the Pronto purchasing reorder report for stock replenishment or direct sale to customers.

Liaise and assist the Store person to ensure all orders are dispatched in a timely manner.

Have flexibility in working hours to support warehouse operations.

Will be required to relieve in warehouse operations, when necessary, including but not limited to, parts order receipting and dispatching.

Any other duties as directed or required to fulfill the inherent requirements of the role.

Position Qualifications

Experience in Pronto and MS suite is desirable.

Previous exposure to material processing and TWS equipment would be well regarded.

Interest in parts interpreting or sales.

Knowledge of parts warehouse operations and freight processes is desirable.

Experience in export processes would be beneficial.

Mechanical aptitude or an interest in mechanical application.

Demonstrate a competence to read drawings and identify specific parts.

A willingness to learn and grow into the role.

Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, both internally and externally.

Confident problem solving and communication skills.

Ability to prioritise deadlines.

Able to collaborate and contribute to a team environment.

Current forklift license is advantageous.
