Parts Manager

Essential Functions:

Hires, develops, evaluates, and influences effective and consistent productivity and teamwork to ensure the delivery of Legendary Customer Service (LCS) Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values-Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission Manages all human, physical, and financial resources for the Parts Warehouse to achieve strategic company goals Develops and implements policies and procedures governing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and/or supplies within the Parts Warehouse Collaborates with the Parts Manager on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change Oversees daily Parts Warehouse operations to ensure parts are delivered in a positive, consistent manner in alignment with departmental goals Leads warehouse operations and motivates employees to foster a customer-centric environment throughout the Parts Warehouse Meets with key customers, maintains relationships to facilitate ongoing customer satisfaction Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory by performing counts and ensuring accuracy between various systems Collaborates with managers outside of the Parts Department to ensure parts availability for current and future scheduled maintenance Evaluates the Parts Warehouse to ensure facilities are in good working order and in compliance with all safety standards and regulations Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards Requires regular and punctual employee attendance Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of common warehouse practices and safety requirements Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Excel, Outlook, Word, etc. Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division accurately Knowledge of common warehouse software to include, but not limited to DBS, WMS, Antares, CAT systems, etc. Proficient skills required for solid problem solving, planning, organization, time management, and analysis Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strength and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to a problem. Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange information Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills Ability to work with all levels of personnel within the organization

Education and Experience:

High school diploma, or equivalent, required Bachelor’s degree in related preferred Five or more years of job-related experience required

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position directs and manages the Parts Warehouse Supervisors, Parts Warehouse Leads, and Cashier. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; coaching and development; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
